Devoted to Adding

What if the growth of the church isn't something we work towards, but something God gives?

In the final message of our Devoted series, we come to Acts 2:47, where the early church enjoyed the favor of all the people and the Lord added to their number daily.

A devoted community produces changed lives. Not because we manufacture growth, but because we make room for God to do what only He can do. When a church is truly devoted - to the teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, to prayer, to giving - it becomes something the world is longing for. A family with room at the table. A place where people meet God and want to stay.

While we are all called to "go and tell" others about Jesus, this message is a reminder that sometimes all we have to say is "come and see" - trusting that what God is already doing in this community is the invitation.

Because when we live devoted… the Lord adds.

He added to their number, daily, two thousand years ago.
