Why Mosaic?

A mosaic is an art form in which individual pieces form a part of a unified whole that altogether presents a beautiful image. Like a mosaic, we see the church connecting people to belong and to grow as part of the body of Christ to reveal God’s love to the world.

    Our Vision

    We see a diverse church community of people reached and discipled to make disciples in the name of Jesus. This community is welcoming and growing so that new people are continually finding a place where they belong and feel at home. Our diversity is a strength that we enjoy and celebrate.


    Every believer is discovering, developing, and deploying the gifts and resources that God has given them to build up the body of Christ and to serve their communities. People are being baptized in the name of Jesus and living out their identities as the holy and glorified children of God.


    As we go about our daily lives, we worship God through our work and our character as his messengers to a world that does not yet know him. As we become mature believers, we create a legacy of faith and discipleship that impacts the next generations.


    When we gather, we use creativity and connection to worship God in Spirit and in truth. Our church community lives out its faith publicly in ways that positively impact our city. City leaders will turn to the church for solutions to their problems. Our service to the city will be a witness for the heart of Christ to the people outside of the church. Unified in our diversity, we are peacemakers.

    Living out our joy through worship, honoring God and people, and cultivating a culture of fun that unites us and builds deeper relationships with God and with each other.

    Reaching others with the message of Christ, guiding them to grow in their faith, and empowering them to go out and disciple others.

    Taking ownership of our role in God’s work by contributing our unique gifts with humility, serving the church and community while valuing everyone's part.


    Creativity

    Embracing the arts and multimedia as powerful expressions of worship and tools to reach people with God’s love. Creativity also drives us to find new ways to serve our city, reach the lost, and bring fresh solutions to every challenge we face.

    Our Beliefs

    We live by our convictions, the core values that make us who we are. The Bible is our guide to life, not only because it is good, but because it is true.

    • The Trinity

      There is one God: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

    • Jesus

      In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God; we believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His constant intercession and in His imminent return.

    • Holy Spirit

      In the person and work of the Holy Spirit with His fruit and gifts available in the Church.

    • The Bible

      The Bible as the living word of God - infallible, authoritative and everlasting, and the foundation of all Christian doctrine and faith.

    • The Devil

      In the existence of an evil spiritual being - the devil.

    • Salvation

      In the spiritually lost condition of all people and the essential need for the "new birth" by faith in Jesus Christ.

    • Baptism of the Holy Spirit

      In the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a gift available to believers, with the normal evidence of speaking in other tongues.

    • Sacraments

      In the sacraments of the Lord's Supper and baptism by full immersion in water for all believers.

    • The Resurrection

      In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting separation from God.

    • The Church

      In the church being the body of Christ, and each member being an active part of a local church, fulfilling the Great Commission.

    • Marriage

      Marriage was instituted by God, ratified by Jesus, and is exclusively between a man and a woman. It is a picture of Christ and His church.

    • Sex

      Sex is a gift from God for procreation and unity, and it is only appropriate within and designed for marriage.
