When the Arrows Come

Not everything that lands on you was an accident.

A thought that arrives out of nowhere, already finished. A message you were not expecting. A comment that should not have gone as deep as it did. We turn these over, look for our part in them. And while we are still examining it, it is already spreading — into the mood, into the tone at home, into a decision we will be explaining for years.

In week three of Bulletproof, we open Ephesians 6:16–17 and take up two pieces of armor built for incoming fire: the shield of faith and the helmet of salvation. One covers what is coming at you now. The other guards what you already believe about how this ends. And Paul hands them to a church, not to one person.

This message is about where the attack is actually coming from, why faith covers instead of argues, and what fear and hopelessness are quietly telling you about your future.

You do not have to be certain. You have to be covered.
